Hauseit started as a friendship long before it became a business.
Mohammad and Imran first met through aviation. Imran was training for his Private Pilot's Licence at the Leicestershire Aero Club, and took the time to walk Mohammad — then 16, and 20 his junior — through how to get started. Three months later, the two met up at a café. Mohammad had already passed his PPL. Imran, much to his surprise, wasn't yet halfway through his own.
That early mix of mutual encouragement and friendly rivalry set the tone for everything that followed. They stayed in touch through the years, swapping ideas across very different chapters of life.
Six years on, in another café, Mohammad floated the idea of starting an estate agency together. Imran was sceptical at first. Two years later, Hauseit is the result of that conversation — an independent Leicester agency built by two friends who decided to back themselves.
